Dental Implant
As the Sea lion family, we provide a variety of dental care and methods to support patients with different needs. Along with dentures and bridges, dental implants are another popular option for patients who want to replace one or more of their missing teeth. Dental implants are metal frameworks that are surgically attached to the jawbone below the gums, thus providing permanent support for dentures. Unlike dentures, dental implants do not loosen. Essentially, they are replacements for the roots of your teeth. The success rate of dental implants is usually excellent as long as the patient has healthy gums and sufficient bone. With adequate oral care, dental implants can last a very long time. If you want to find out if you are suitable for dental implants, you should first seek professional advice. Our expert and reliable team is always happy to assist and we are passionate about providing superior care.
Crowns and bridges
If you have missing teeth or if they are just starting to weaken and fail, crowns or bridges may be the best solution. Our dental crowns can strengthen your teeth and prevent them from breaking, as well as improve their appearance. By covering the damaged tooth, our crowns can eliminate almost any cosmetic problem and give you the confidence you need to smile more. Alternatively, our dental bridges can be used as a backup if your teeth are truly missing. Bridges cover the space where the cavities are and are cemented to the surrounding teeth that are still in place. Just like crowns, patients can choose the material for their bridges after getting some advice from a professional. In fact, crowns and bridges can even be used together to provide superior restoration and healing. Before crowns or bridges are installed, the tooth and/or teeth must be downsized to make room for the new fixture. Porcelain or ceramic crowns and bridges can be matched to the color of your teeth for a more natural result. If you have any questions regarding crowns and/or bridges, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Orthodontic Treatment – Lingual Braces
If you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your teeth, feel that there is too much space between them, are wobbly, and/or have excessive bite, braces are an ideal option for you. Orthodontic services offered in our partner clinics are aimed at treating dental irregularities. We have a variety of braces on offer, but we can keep them hidden so that no one really notices them. For example, lingual braces are a special service not available to all practitioners. Lingual braces are considered an “invisible” treatment because they are worn behind your teeth, not on the front teeth. Because of this positioning, lingual braces are also often referred to as "internal" braces. This treatment typically takes six to nine months, which is well worth it for a lifetime of beautiful smile. You will barely have time to get used to your new braces before the treatment is finished and removed. Just like traditional braces, each bracket of lingual braces is designed to seamlessly conform to the shape of your teeth and exert moderate pressure on them, so they all move slowly into the desired position. After each of the brackets are attached, the wire is threaded through them and your process can begin!
Prostheses
Dentures are a type of denture that can be made of plastic, nylon or metal. Although not always necessary, the patient can remove and reattach at any time. But it should be known that; When dentures are removed, they must be kept moist so that they do not dry out and/or deform. If all of your upper or lower teeth need to be replaced, you will need a full denture. Dentures are designed to fit comfortably on the gums, not only for aesthetic reasons, but also to eliminate potential problems caused by cavities. Alternatively, partial dentures can be used if only a few of your teeth are missing. These will be attached to some of your natural teeth. But if you're after a durable, non-removable option, implant-supported dentures are also an option. Your treatment should include a complete oral exam to make sure your gums are healthy enough to support treatment. Please do not hesitate to get information from us, as the sea lion family, we are always with you!
