Clarification Text and Privacy Policy on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data
- SEA ANGEL TRAVEL AGENCY (“Sealion Turizm” or “Company”) serves as an electronic commerce solution that provides a platform for buyers to purchase products offered to Sellers through their websites, social media accounts and blogs.
- Sealion Tourism has adopted confidentiality principles regarding personal information and data security in order to protect the privacy of the Users (“Sellers and Buyers”) and to ensure that they benefit from the technological infrastructure in use at the highest level. These privacy principles have been determined to be implemented in the field of data collection and/or use of data, including but not limited to personal data, via the website www.Sealion Turizm.com (“Website”). In order to provide our services in a fast, easy and reliable manner, personal data provided to Sealion Tourism by Users must be processed and transferred to third parties. In this context, personal data shared with Sealion Turizm are processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the

- Personal data, in proportion to the purposes of the services provided by Sealion Turizm, to ensure that Sealion Turizm continues its activities, to provide better service, to measure and improve the quality of the service it provides, to determine the preferences and needs of our customers and employees, to process and evaluate job applications, with our Company. It is processed without express consent, provided that express consent is obtained in accordance with the current legislation in order to ensure communication with persons who have established a business relationship, to act in accordance with the applicable legislation, to send newsletters by e-mail and to make notifications. In this context, Sealion Tourism will be able to record, store, update, disclose to third parties, transfer, classify and process personal information regarding Users in cases and to the extent permitted by the legislation.
- Users share with the Company their name, surname, full address, telephone number, e-mail address and similar personal information, as well as the bank and payment information they provide in line with their preferences, while becoming a member of Sealion Turizm. The Company may process and/or use this information provided by the Users in accordance with your purposes of using Sealion Turizm, without any further approval during the contractual relationship and for a period not longer than 10 (ten) years following the closure of the account. As a rule, personal information given by users is confidential information and is considered as personal data in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. This information is kept confidential by the Company and will not be disclosed or shared with third parties by the Company unless otherwise and explicitly stated.
- Sellers and Buyers transmit some personal information about themselves (name, surname, institution information, telephone, postal address and/or e-mail address and similar) to the Company by filling in various fields on Sealion Turizm. The Company may use this information requested outside of the purposes and scope determined by the Terms of Use and Membership Agreement, by keeping personal information anonymous by the Company or the people it cooperates with. In this context, the Company, by anonymizing all kinds of information and data provided by the Users in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the secondary legislation in force, the Users’ personal information can be an identifiable natural person in any form and in any way, even by matching with other data. and in this context, it can use the anonymized data for statistical evaluations, market research and similar purposes as it wishes.
- Personal information provided by users can also be used to contact Sellers and Buyers for any reason. In this context, Sellers and Buyers accept and declare that the Company may use this information to communicate with them by providing the information requested by the Company.
- Information provided by Sellers and Buyers or information about transactions made through Sealion Turizm; It can be used for various statistical evaluations, market research and similar purposes by being anonymized without revealing the identity of the User, except for the purposes and scope specified in the Terms of Use and Membership Agreement, by the company and the institutions or persons it cooperates with.
- Users’ personal data, as a rule, are not transferred to third parties without the explicit consent of the persons concerned, within the scope of the rules specified in the KVKK and the purposes specified in this Clarification Text. In addition, by taking the necessary security measures in line with the purposes of personal data processing, personal data can be sent to third parties in the country and abroad, our business partners, our performance assistants, regulatory and supervisory institutions and official authorities in line with the purpose of our services and activities or in cases stipulated by the relevant legislation. can be transferred. The information to be provided by the Users within the scope of the use of Sealion Turizm will be processed by the Company in accordance with the KVKK. In this context, the Company may share personal information to be provided by Users with real and legal persons who provide credit card service providers, payment service providers, internet service providers, mobile application and website software maintenance and support services, excluding third parties with whom it has a contractual relationship.
- Sealion Tourism may use online services, interactive applications, e-mail messages and advertisements, cookies and other technologies. With these technologies, users can compare the information shared with Sealion Turizm with the publicly available information; device’s operating system, operating system language, processor type, browser version, device location, time zone, IP address and similar information can be detected. In addition, the Company or third parties to be authorized may determine and use the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the Sellers and Buyers, if necessary, in order to identify system-related problems and to solve technical problems that may arise.
- The Company can obtain information about the use of Sealion Tourism by the Sellers and Buyers by using a technical communication file (cookie). Files called cookies are small text files that a website sends to the user’s browser to be stored in the main memory. A cookie makes it easier to use by storing status and preferences about a website. Cookies help to obtain statistical information about site visits and to produce specially designed advertisements and other dynamic content for Sellers and Buyers. Users can remove and reject these cookies from their browsers at any time.
- Sealion Tourism collects and uses Users’ personal information to operate and improve its services. These uses may include providing more effective Customer service to Users, facilitating the use of applications and services by eliminating the need to enter the same information repeatedly, conducting research and analysis for the purpose of improving our application and services, and displaying customized content in accordance with the interests and preferences of Users. Sensitive personal data (religion, sect, ethnicity, race, etc.) will not be requested and processed by Sealion Tourism without the express consent of the Users.
- Passwords for vendor accounts should not be shared with third parties and should be formulated in a way that cannot be guessed by third parties. In the event that the Sellers share passwords and other information regarding their accounts with third parties, the Seller will be responsible for all transactions made on behalf of the account. In case of any security vulnerability regarding the security of the account and/or password, the Sellers are obliged to contact the Company immediately.
- Users’ personal data will only be collected within the scope of Sealion Tourism’s field of activity and for the purposes of collection, can be stored for the periods required by the purposes of processing and/or for the period stipulated in the current legislation, will not be processed in a way that exceeds the rules specified in the KVKK, and in case the reasons requiring processing are eliminated, the data in force It will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized upon the request of the Users, ex officio or in the capacity of a related person, without prejudice to the cases where there is a retention obligation arising from other legislation.
- In certain cases, the Company may disclose information about Sellers and/or Buyers to third parties, except for the situations and/or persons expressly stated in this Clarification Text and Privacy Policy. These situations are not limited to those listed below; In cases where it is necessary to provide information in order to comply with the responsibilities brought by the current legislation, to fulfill the requirements of the Terms of Use and Membership Agreement and its annexes, and to request information about the users for the purpose of a research carried out by the competent authority in accordance with the relevant legislation, and other cases listed in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. are exceptional cases.
- Users, due to being a member of Sealion Tourism; questioning whether your personal data is being processed, requesting information on this matter if it has been processed, questioning whether your personal data is used in accordance with the purpose and purpose of processing, whether it is transferred domestically or abroad, and in case of any deficiencies or mistakes regarding your personal data, requesting that this error be corrected; has the right to request the deletion or destruction of personal data and to request the notification of this situation to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred.
- In order to use these rights arising from the current legislation, the Users may submit their request in this direction to the address of Sealion Tourism stated below in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK; with his name, surname and signature, if he is a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, T.C. identification number, if not a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, nationality, passport number or identification number if any, place of residence or workplace address for notification, e-mail address and telephone number for notification, and the subject of the request and the necessary information and documents to determine your identity, in written form. may apply as Applications will be evaluated by Sealion Tourism and will be concluded free of charge within thirty days.
